Greetings Church Family;

    I feel so honored and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church family that is always growing and looking for ways to encourage and serve one another. I pray that you are all having a wonderful week experiencing Gods presence and spiritual blessings upon your life, and not to mention those ladies of ours who were able to get away and attend the ladies retreat. Here are some updates and announcements for the month of May.
    Thank you to everyone who adopted a raised bed in the Church Garden. We are so excited to begin the process of reaping the Fruit of Our Labor and sharing it with our church family. If you have any questions and would like to participate and get involved with all that we're doing, please ask to speak with Yesenia Sanchez for more info.
     This Sunday is the First of the Month, Communion Sunday. Always a great time to fix our attention on the work of redemption that Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross for us. What an example of self sacrifice for the needs and benefits of others for us to emulate. 
    The Young Adults ages 20 to mid 30's will meets tonight Friday May 5th & 19th @6pm for Bible Study, and fellowship inside the church Cafe'. The church provides childcare for those young adult families with children free of charge. Ask to speak with Devin Chapple for more information.
 The Youth Group will meet on Saturday May 13th, 27th, @4:00pm inside the Cafe' for Bible Study, Fellowship, and fun Games. The Youth are planning a hike on the Mary Jane falls trail in Mt Charleston on Saturday May 27th. Ask to speak with Devin Chapple for more information.
    We have Bible Studies that meet throughout the week, Tuesday Afternoon Interactive Bible Study that meets @12:pm inside the Children's Ministry Building, a Wednesday Evening Interactive Sermon based Bible Study that also includes voluntary open prayer, and Worship, that meets @6:30pm inside the Cafe' as well as a Home Group that meets on Thursday evenings @ the Goldberg family home. The Ladies Studies @ the Salon FX on Monday nights @6pm {Romans} ... Tuesday nights @ the Blackstone family home @6:30pm {Sermon based} ... Wednesday nights inside the Multi-Purpose Room Building @4:30pm {Names of God} ... Be sure to stop by the info desk to obtain a map and more detailed information.  
    We have a Married Couple's Study on Monday Evenings @6pm meeting inside the Multipurpose Room Building. Entitled "Love and Respect" with the hope of building up and strengthening our marriage relationships. For more info about attending, ask to speak with Terry Bivens.
    Our next Men's Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday May 20th @7am inside the Cafe'. All men are encouraged to bring their sons. If you would like to help participate in setting up and preparing the breakfast show up @6am, you may ask to speak with Manuel Gonzales or Mike Doeller on how to be more involved.
    The Grief Share Ministry meets on Tuesday evenings @5:30pm Inside the Multi-Purpose Room Building. If you or someone you know is in need of meeting with someone for comfort, support, and encouragement, please ask to speak with Colleen Sando after service on Sunday's.
 
    We will be hosting a  Widows Lunch on Thursday May 27th Fellowship starts @11:30am Lunch is served @12:30pm. If you would like to assist us in preparing and serving food to these wonderful ladies please see Sheree Patterson or Lillian Knapp for more info.
    We have just ordered the fresh water, grey water and black water holding tanks for our new Mobile Shower Unit to do outreach to the homeless in our community, as well as fire department base camps to serve those fighting forest fires, and tornado ravished communities and any other opportunities the Lord may provide to us. We have already registered the trailer and had our signage put on the outside. Once we have received the tanks we will begin contacting those of you who have signed up to assist us in the conversion process. Please ask to speak with Zeke Lopez for further details.
    We are beginning our recruiting process this Sunday for volunteers for our upcoming Vacation Bible School the week of July 17th-21st. We have been so blessed in the past years to have so many volunteers that it makes for such a pleasant experience serving. We will have a table set up inside the Cafe' with all the info.
UPCOMING EVENTS ...
 
    We're making plans to do an Evangelism Outreach this month {May} @ Petrack Park. We are just waiting to receive confirmation from our Town Office on available dates. We will let you know as soon as we receive confirmation. In the meantime if you would like to participate please ask to speak with Jim Burns.
 
    We're making plans to host a Men's Retreat in August the 17th-19 in Panguitch, {Tommy Creek} Utah. More details will be made available as we ... {SAVE THE DATE}
    Well that does it for now ... There's a lot going on, I praise God for the team of servant leaders our church is so blessed to have. It definitely takes a team effort to do what we do in our service to God, and I am so very grateful to serve alongside each and everyone of you.
