Greetings Church Family: 

   I trust everyone had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving, whether you spent it with immediate family, church family, or close friends. It truly was a blessing to gather together with the church family the day before and hear the wonderful praises and testimonies of our great God while partaking of a Thanksgiving meal together. Now we get to look forward to celebrating Jesus' birth and the opportunities that will present themselves to share with others the Good News of Gods salvation. Here are some announcements for the upcoming month of December.   

Young Adults ages 20 to mid 30's meet on Friday December 1st & 15th @6pm meeting inside the Church discipleship house 1081 Mickey St. adjacent to the Chapel grounds for Bible Study, and fellowship. The church provides childcare for those families with small children free of charge. Ask to speak with Pastor John Gundacker or Avery Middleton for more information ... Those with children please RSVP

The Youth Group meets on Saturday December 9th & 23rd @4pm inside the Church Cafe. For Bible Study, Fellowship, and fun Games. Ask to speak with Manuel & Sandi Gonzalez or Avery Middleton for more information.
Garden Ministry has scheduled days for the participation and education of planting and growing fresh fruits and vegetables as well as proper maintenance as well as sharing new ideas, and techniques. Whether you have already adopted a garden bed or would like to do so. Feel free to join us in the month of December on the 5th, or 19th, and the month of January on the 2nd, 16th, or 30th. If your in need of more information please ask to speak with Yesenia Sanchez on any Sunday morning.

We have Bible Studies that meet throughout the week that provide an opportunity to dive deeper into the Sunday morning sermons and fellowship with and develop lasting friendships with other believers.

Wednesday- 6:30pm inside the Cafe. Interactive Sermon Based, everyone's welcome, that also includes voluntary open prayer, and Worship.
Thursday- 5:00pm Goldberg Home, interactive Sermon Based, everyone's welcome, led by Ben Lewelling {775} 209-5875

Our next Men's Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th @7am inside the Cafe'. All men are encouraged to bring their sons. If you would like to help participate in setting and preparing the breakfast please show up between 5:30 & 6am, for more info ask to speak with Mike Doeller or Brian Jacobs.
The Men's Ministry also provides small Discipleship Groups that meet throughout the week @ different locations, days, and times. Ask to speak with Manuel Gonzalez or Mike Doeller for more info.
Our Ladies Christmas Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday December 9th @11am inside the Main Sanctuary Building. You can sign up @ the info desk as well as pick up additional information, or ask to speak with Shelley Acosta.

The Grief Share Ministry meets on Tuesday evenings @4:30pm Inside the Multi-Purpose Room Building. If you or someone you know is in need of meeting with someone for comfort, support, and encouragement, please ask to speak with Colleen Sando after service on Sunday's for more information. Grief Share share will meet until December 19th and take a break until Feburary for more info see Collen Sando.

We will be hosting a  Widows Lunch on Thursday December 28th. Fellowship starts @11:30am Lunch is served @12:30pm. If you would like to assist us in preparing and serving food to these wonderful ladies, please ask to speak with Lillian Knapp for more info.
Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Services will be on Sunday December 24th @8:30am & 10:30am & Monday December 25th @9:30am
School of Ministry is a discipleship program that we are kicking off for both men and women who desire to grow deeper in their relationship and knowledge of God in January 2024, as well as to be used in a leadership role covering all aspects of service and ministry for the Lord. If you have picked up an application please be sure to turn it in no later than Sunday December 10th. For more information please ask to speak with any of our Elders or Pastors.
Beatty Baptist Church Outreach Please continue to pray for God to pour His Holy Spirit out upon the Beatty Community as we send volunteers out weekly to share Gods Word with the congregation there. It has been a wonderful partnership. They have expressed their thankfulness for our willingness to serve them in this way. We are so looking forward to seeing God do some amazing things. Thank you so much church family for your love, support and encouragement, what a blessing it will be to celebrate in the harvest together.

Spanish Speaking Bible Study is scheduled to begin on Friday January 5th 2024 inside our Church Cafe'. Our hope and prayer is for this Bible study to transition into a Spanish speaking Sunday morning Church service. Please keep this endeavor in prayer and help us get the word out to all our Spanish speaking members in our church family as well as all those who call our community. for more info ask to speak with Anibal Guzman.

    That does it for now. Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, the time we all take communion together and fix our attention on the demonstration of love set forth by Jesus to save us from our sins. Looking forward to worshipping together. My wife Maria and I love you all and thank Jesus for you daily. We feel so honored and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church family.
