Going Deeper
There is an adult interactive Bible study on the first
Wednesday of every month @ 6:30 p.m. @
the Mickey Street Chapel (1051 E. Mickey St.).
This is an inductive Bible study for those who
want to dig deeper into God's word.
Wednesday Evening Potluck
Every Wednesday evening there is a potluck prior to the inductive
Bible study. The potluck begins at 5:00 p.m. with
Bible study
starting at 6:30 p.m.
Men's Ministry
The Men’s Prayer Group - meets every Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m.
for coffee and at 7 a.m.
for prayer
in the Calvary Chapel Fresh Love sanctuary.
Men's Breakfast - the men will be meeting for breakfast
@ 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 14th @ the Pahrump Diner
located @ 1440 E. Hwy 372.
All men are invited to come and enjoy a
time of fellowship and good food.
Sons are welcome to come also.
Women’s Ministry
Ladies Lunch - the next ladies lunch will be on Friday, August 13th
@ 11:30a.m. @ Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse located
@ 20 So. Hwy 160
next to Dairy Queen..
All ladies are welcome to come and enjoy an informal
time of great food and fellowship with other women.
Ladies Bible Study - is currently taking a break
for the summer and will resume in the fall.
Moms - connect with other moms and their children
over the summer with play dates and fun events.

Youth R.O.C.K.
Our Junior High Youth Group meets at the Calvary Chapel on
1051 E. Mickey Street. The youth will
meet
on the second and fourth Sunday of this month
(August 8th and 22nd) at 4:00 p.m.
All youth ages 10-13 years old are encouraged
to come for
Bible teaching and fun.

Food Drive
We are still collecting nonperishable food items to assist
our local community food banks. The Ministry
Information Center is were you can obtain a list of needed items
as well as drop off food after each service.
August Outreach
Outreach - Our church body will be making lunch
for the District Attorney's Office as well as the District Court
on Friday, August 20th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Guest Speaker
Guest Speaker - Pastor Trip Kimball will be joining us as our guest
speaker at both morning services on Sunday, August 8th.
Looking Ahead...
Pastor Chuck Smith will be at Calvary Chapel Spring Valley
in Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 7th. More details coming soon....
Family Camp
We will be having a family camp on Labor Day weekend
(September 4th-6th). It will take place at the Clear Creek Family Ranch
just outside of Zion National Park in Utah. The cost is $50 per family and
sign-ups are taking place after each service at the Ministry Info Ctr.

Elder on Call
Duke Patterson is our elder on call for this month.
He is available for home & hospital visitations
as well as for prayer and questions regarding God’s word.
He can also be contacted through the church @ 751-8000.

Sunday services are held at the Calvary Chapel Fresh Love Building.
Morning service times are
8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning.
